Reunion

Happy August! I want to keep this post short and sweet to maximize fun in the sun before fall rolls in and brings us shorter, gloomy days again.

Speaking of fun in the sun, I thought this month would be a good time to share a song that I stumbled across that reminded me of the chaos and gossip of family barbecues, children running around, and in general the mayhem that ensues when large families or extended families gather together. Apparently this song - "Reunion" by Bobbie Gentry - recently appeared on Fargo, so that's why it appeared in the digital milieu.

I think it's worthy of analysis for someone's final project for some college class, so here you go! I hope you enjoy the many layers, chaos, and playfulness as much as I do.
